We are currently looking for an (associate) technical scientist or senior research associate with demonstrated working experience in antibody discovery via phage display to join our dynamic R&D team at argenx, where we strive to innovate and deliver groundbreaking medicines to patients.
In this lab-based role, you will apply your knowledge and hands-on experience in the SIMPLE™ Ab platform technologies, e.g. phage display, to support, train, guide and troubleshoot during the early phases of antibody discovery in close collaboration with our R&D project teams. In addition to bringing your knowledge and expertise to the project teams, you will be responsible to identify and evaluate innovative methods in the area of antibody discovery & phage display, assess their suitability for argenx and implement these methods sustainably into argenx’ workflow. As such, the function requires both hands-on time in the lab (≥50%) as well as dedicated time to browse (patent) literature and interact with internal and external (e.g., vendors, CROs, external experts) stakeholders to continue to build and extend our expertise.
