JOB PURPOSE: 

Supports, and in conjunction with, The Accounting & Tax Managers, manages a team of staff, ensuring that the provision of all client work for the portfolio is delivered on time and to a high standard in order to meet productivity targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Support Managers on coaching, evaluate and motivate team members;

  • Check the workload, planning and productivity of each team member;

  • Train team members in accordance with company policies and ensure internal procedures are followed;

  • Manage full client’s portfolio through expertise and team management in close collaboration with the team;

  • Global review of the firm’s clients' accounts;

  • Review of periodical reporting’s and annual accounts;

  • Review of VAT & tax returns;

  • Review of reporting’s according to Belgian Standards or IFRS understands;

  • Coordination and follow up client audits;

  • Manage the customer relationship and expectations, handle complaints/escalations to ensure regular communication to maintain a good relationship with all customers;

  • Preparation of commercial services offers (fee proposals);

  • Coordinates the onboarding of new clients;

  • Based on his/her deep knowledge of procedures and systems he drives standardization and process improvements;

  • Act as a point of reference and expertise for his team.


YOUR PROFILE:

  • Fluent knowledge of English (C1/C2);

  • Bachelor in Accounting - Master in Tax or equivalent;

  • Member or trainee of the ITAA (Belgian Institute for Tax Advisors and Accountants);

  • At least 5 years’ experience in outsourcing firms or multinational environment;

  • At least 2 years’ experience in coaching junior staff members and managing team members;

  • Operational excellence;

  • Financial accountability;

  • Strong People Management Skills and team player;

  • Focus and determination to meet goals (both individual and team goals);

  • Ability to meet high quality standards;

  • Problem solving and hands on attitude;

  • Puts colleagues/clients at the center of everything they do to ensure a positive experience;

  • Acts with integrity.
