  • Coordinate and support the work of various CCBE committees and working groups;

  • Maintain and establish relationships and contacts with relevant representatives and officials in the EU institutions and other European and international organisations and stakeholders;

  • Ensure timely and comprehensive reporting of policy input, strategies and events or meetings to CCBE bodies and members;

  • Contribute to possible projects in the area of justice, rule of law, human rights and the legal profession.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills;

  • Problem-solving ability: Proactive in identifying challenges and implementing practical solutions;

  • Resilient and adaptable to changing circumstances;

  • Collaborative approach: A team player who values diverse perspectives and fosters cooperation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A university degree in law;

  • 1-2 years of relevant professional experience (e.g. policy development and advocacy activities in the field of European affairs, or regular professional dealings with the European institutions or international organisation);

  • Experience in a member-based organisation or with the European institutions is considered an asset;

  • Proficiency in English or French, with a working knowledge of the other language.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • A permanent and full-time position in a dynamic, flexible, and international work environment in Brussels;

  • An attractive remuneration package based on experience and qualifications including extra-legal holidays and benefits (meal vouchers, pension and health insurance, intervention in public transportation and training);
